Altec Decals - Group Buy

Thanks to cradeldorf we have full sheet vector graphics layouts in several formats.

cradeldorf, I'm inclined to agree with you on the registration problem. If I extrude the letters to 3d and rotate them there should be some other gold bars visible (at the top of the letters and center of the "E" and "A" for instance) Sure, they didn't have computers when these were made but it would have been obvious to anyone who would be drawing them by hand. Still, I like the look of both. Anyway, nice job fixing up what I sent.

The 'shoulders' of the letter 'C' could be more rounded. However, it looks good as it is.

We don't want them too perfect or we won't be able to tell ours from the originals.

I?ve been experimenting with the two step paint / waterslide method. This is my first attempt with a double size version. Metallic gold paint with laserjet waterslide paper. There are a couple of problems with the work but I have like 15 min. into it, more a proof of concept than an all-out attempt. I?m going to work on a couple tonight that will hopefully be higher quality. Going for normal size too which demand the magnifiers at my age.

Looking good buddy. I think it's gonna work out nicely. I could still talk to my cousin about what he thinks for printing them he's got one of the big flatbed printers that UV cure's the ink at his sign shop.

I loved when Kelso on that 70's show was doing that Chico impersonation. :D Thanks for the thumbs up AB. I couldn't have done it without Marty's work to get me started.
